For the last couple of days Iโve been scavenging pictures all over Edmond for a project for the Chamber of Commerce. They had a long list of pictures of cool things around Edmond that they wanted updated stock photography of, so I was literally all over town for two days. It was really a lot of fun and I couldnโt have asked for better weather.
Hereโs a sequence I got yesterday at Mitch Parkโs skate park. I put the new 1d Mark III to the test and got some great pictures at 10 frames per second. Fun times!
And hereโs the first shot I took there. I checked out the three guys who were there and introduced myself to Robert, the first guy to do a cool trick. I asked if heโd mind if I snapped a few shots of him getting some air or something and he was happy to help. I had no idea how high Robert was going to jump. He jumped clear out of my frame and into the sun, which made for a really cool shot, I thought. X-Games, here we come!
Seriously, though, if youโre planning some cool adventure and would love to have it documented in awesome photos, let me know! Iโm really giving some thought on how to create a market for and get into adventure photography.
As always, would love to hear what you all think!
