When the Baca family called us for a Christmas card photo shoot, we were excited to get some fun lifestyle portraits for them in addition to the regular, more classic portraits. We’ve photographed them a few times now, including newborns and family portraits, so we had some ideas to change it up, be creative and have some fun with it.

Family photos finished, we gave Brandon the all-clear and he grabbed his favorite libations to watch us work with the kids for the remainder of the shoot. I couldn’t resist, however, capturing a stately portrait of Brandon with his scotch & cigar, and his beautiful wife, Andrea.

This next portrait is possibly one of my favorite mother-and-daughter photos ever!

Formal portraits over, we then captured some more fun, lifestyle-type portraits. Love how you can see the kids in motion while Brandon & Andrea sit together with the baby.

I think most Dads of multiple kids know the feeling of these next couple of photos. I sure do! Brandon, you’re an amazing dad and are certainly a rock in the storm of everyday life in a house full of energetic kids!

This must have been the most fun photoshoot ever for this dad. =) Dads, feel free to bring cigars or pipes along on any of our photo shoots! I even got a photo of pregnant Holly holding Brandon’s cigar and scotch, but I dare not post it here. (It’s on my Instagram. *wink*)
