New Wedding Album
Oh, how I love the smell of new leather! We have a new album company that we tried out and we are impressed! We love several things about them…
First of all, they come in a gorgeous presentation box with a magnetic closure to protect the album from needless day-to-day wear. Pretty enough to leave on the coffee-table year-round.
Then there’s the album itself… This one happens to be a dark blue leather. I love how the pages are thick enough to be durable, yet not so needlessly thick as to take up more room than necessary. The image below shows how thick a 40-page album is.
No tacky foil stamping on this baby… We went with a more subtle, classy embossing for a more timeless, classic look that shouldn’t go out of style before you can show your kids your wedding album. =)
The lay-flat pages allow the album to do just that… Lay flat despite whatever page you are on, be it the beginning middle or end. The result is an album that flows nicely across both pages.
How about that teeny, tiny page gutter?! Boasting the smallest gutter in the industry, this album has the best of both worlds… The durability of a real hinge (gutterless albums will change color over time where the photos bend), and yet the visually pleasing look of a hardly-noticeable gutter for two-page spreads.
There are lots of options on leathers, colors, sizes and dimensions from this new company and we look forward to sharing other new creations as we receive them. It’s always fun to find great new products, and we were really excited to share this one with you.
Thanks for stopping by and keeping up with the latest!
