Ivy & Jonathan’s Outdoor Wedding
Here’s an overdue post about a beautiful wedding we did last Fall up in Enid, Oklahoma…
Ivy and Jonathan had everything looking just perfect on Ivy’s father’s estate, but the weather decided not to cooperate. They were troopers, though, and had fun despite the drizzle at their outdoor wedding. I think all of the umbrellas made for some fun images and memories, too. Here’s a little walk through their day…
- Ivy’s room was painted red. Loved it!
- Sharing notes and gifts before the ceremony
One of my very favorites from the day…

How cute is this flower girl!
- You can actually see the drizzle in this one
- Jonathan is a big-time hunter – actually has a hunting show on TV! Thus, the cake… and tree stand.

the colors are gorgeous in this post! i think the rain looks so romantic!
Thanks, Abi! It was a challenging day, but we were really happy that all of our equipment held up and we were able to capture everything we wanted to.
Not many brides can say that they got married in the rain! I LOVE that you can see the raindrops. Awesome!!
@HolliB: You’re right — It’s not very common! Not sure I’d want to do it every weekend, but it was a good experience, and Ivy definitely made the best of it. =)
