Airport Photography, and Comments

I have a bit of an unusual post today… Most of us have been to the airport and experienced the emotion of saying goodbye, – or better yet, the emotion of being reunited with a loved one. Every time I’m in an airport, I find myself watching people and imagining the stories behind each teary-faced smile and hug. I’ve even teared up a time or two, seeing a soldier return home and his toddler being reintroduced to a man she never remembers seeing in real life before. Those deep emotional moments are something I’d love to have the opportunity to capture. If you are aware of some heart-warming return of a loved one that might make for some really moving images and memories that will be priceless to the subjects, would you let us know about it? It’s something I’ve been wanting to do, and thought we’d just throw it out there and see what comes of it.

On an entirely different subject, we set up a new feature that allows you to be notified of follow-up comments to any of our blog posts that you comment on. Commenting is so much more enjoyable when you can read what others after you comment as well… it’s more of a conversation that way. To take advantage of this new feature, all you have to do is check the little box next to “Notify me of followup comments via e-mail” just below the “Post Comment” button.

We had some issues with the comment subscribing feature and I think I fixed it today. If a few of you wouldn’t mind testing it out for us and letting us know if you have any trouble with it working as it should, I’d be most grateful!

***UPDATED @ 11:46pm***  Thanks for the comment help, guys! It’s definitely working now where it didn’t before. Sure appreciate the help! Looking forward to good comment threads and conversations to come! =)
