Edmond Arts Festival features Allison Sangree!
Hey, people! Hope you can make it out to the Edmond Arts Festival sometime today through Sunday. My own dear mother, the very famous Allison Sangree, artist, is featuring some of her exquisite works and will be there in person to sign autographs and swap stories. =)
Seriously, she's one of the most friendly people you'll ever meet, so stop by, say hello and tell her that you're a friend of ours and you will just make her day!
I'm heading there for some good carny food now. Dad says the corn-dog line is incredibly long. =) Maybe I can find something with fresh strawberries since our little plant at home hasn't done very well this spring. I'm not a big corn-dog fan, anyway. If they figure out how to make french fries on a stick, that's when I'll get excited about food on a stick. =)

Would love to stop by IF I could! Just went to her PA art exquisite exhibit! And she truly is one of the friendliest people you'll ever meet! Great lady with great husband and great children (AND grandchildren!)

eww. those pictures make it look disgusting, but really they're very tasty. favorite quote/trivia item: "The corn dog is the only meat on a stick that has its own holiday. National Corndog Day..."
