Jake & Becca

Becca and Jake’s gorgeous wedding took place at at the Chapel at Crossings Community Church. I’ve been wanting to share it here for months, and finally find myself with a few extra moments late this Friday evening as our kids play with some friends who came over (so their parents could have a date night). At the risk of taking a bunny trail, may I just say how great babysitting swapping is?

I know a good percentage of you (dear website visitors) are married with young kids at home, and I just wanted to share what a great deal it can be to swap out babysitting with another couple to allow both of you to alternate date nights and get some time alone without the kids. Not only does it save a lot of money, but it also helps as a reminder because there’s another couple waiting for you to take your turn so they can have another turn again. =)

It’s a great habit to get into, even newlywed and without kids!

We’ve already blogged their engagement, bridal and day-after sessions, and without further ado, here are some of our favorites from Becca and Jake’s gorgeous wedding…

I love these custom hangers with the bride’s new name!

Becca with her sister and Dad immediately before the ceremony

I love this intimate moment captured through a room crowded with the wedding party!

Some quick formals, then on to reception number one, there at Crossings!

Love this shot of the dads watching the car leave the first reception

We actually caught up to them on the highway and Holly was able to get some photos!

Love seeing the city skyline in the background

We stopped en route to get some images with the car in historic Heritage Hills

Then on to reception number two at the Skirvin!

There was a fun “photobooth” setup for those crazy reception group shots!

Congratulations, Jake & Becca! It was a most beautiful day!

Friends and family, be sure to visit their entire gallery of photos, using Rebecca’s maiden name as the gallery pass-code.
