Another Beautiful Letter

Wow, it’s the week for beautiful letters! I’m almost embarrassed to post this one, it’s so complimentary; but if there’s a bride on the fence out there, this may be helpful. Thanks for tolerating this bit of self-indulgence in sharing it with you. It’s unusual that we received two of these right in a row…...

A Beautiful Letter

We received the most beautiful, encouraging letter today, from Bethany’s mother and she said she didn’t mind if we shared it with you. Wedding photography is a significant investment, and we love to hear that our clients feel it was worth it.

“Christian,

I cannot begin to tell you how incredible and beautiful the pictures are from Lee and Bethany’s wedding… I started to realize just how many things I had missed seeing (like cutting the cake) and worrying if everything was as pretty and as special as we wanted it to be for Bethany… I didn’t know how much the pictures would bring the day back to life for us. The photography really is the one lasting and tangible record of that magical day. Thank you so very much for recording the details in an artful and creative way. It was nothing short of joyful to see all the special moments again. I don’t know how I will ever narrow down choices for an album…

Mike: Senior 2010

Mike’s family has been friends of ours for probably 15 or 20 years, and it was really an honor to be asked to to do his senior pictures… Of course he looks like a stud in his senior pictures =) but he’s quite the stud in everyday life, too — from starting his own investment...

Sarah: Senior 2010

What a busy weekend! In a good way, of course… Senior pictures Friday evening, then a Saturday morning wedding consultation with a fun couple (hi, Melissa & Jeremy!), and an afternoon wedding 2nd-shooting for the estimable Charlie Samples at First Presby in OKC with the reception at the Oklahoma History Center. I saw the sun...

Senior Portraits :: Photo of the Day

Just got back from a great session with Sean downtown… The clouds were amazing! Couldn’t resist sharing just one from the session before calling it a night. Thanks for being such a great subject, Sean! And special credit and thanks to Sean’s mother, Debbie, for the expert off-camera lighting assistance. =) UPDATE: Sean’s senior portraits...

Mobile Version of the Website

Over the weekend, I was excited to install a plugin on our site that will make it smart-phone friendly! More and more of our web traffic is coming from iPhones, Blackberries, etc., so it’s important to have a site that is formatted for easy reading on those smaller screens. It doesn’t look quite as cool...

Courtney & Ricky’s Wedding at Ashland Gardens

Last Saturday we photographed Ricky & Courtney’s wedding at Ashland Gardens in Del City. It was our first time shooting there, so we didn’t know what to expect (even after looking it up on Google Maps’ street view). It’s a little oasis tucked away in an otherwise residential/industrial area, but once we stepped inside, we...

Bethany & Lee’s Wedding — A Preview!

Wow, what a weekend! I still feel like I’m recovering from about twenty-two hours of shooting over three days. (Not including downloading, editing, returning calls, etc.) We had two fabulous weddings over the weekend, which we don’t normally do, but both couples were just so sweet and fun and really felt like friends, so we...
